Generic Cialis (TADALAFIL)

Chemical Name TADALAFIL (tah-DA-la-fil)

CIALIS is a prescription medication that is taken orally to help treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It works by relaxing the muscles and increasing blood flow to particular areas in the body to achieve an erection. CIALIS can provide long lasting effects for up to 36 hours in men.

Directions

Patients should strictly follow the instructions prescribed by your doctor. Do not increase or decrease the dosage without consulting your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Generally, doctors may advise the following when taking CIALIS:

  • take one pill daily - allow 24 hours to pass between doses
  • can be taken with or without food
  • maybe split- using a pill splitter
Results may vary. It may take up to 4-5 days before CIALIS starts working and you are able to have successful intercourse, or you may get results earlier. Be patient and give the medication a chance to work. If you do not see positive results, consult your doctor as you may need an adjustment to your CIALIS dosage.
